The Oak Village Women's Club was founded in 1984 with the purpose of providing a place where new residents to the community could come to meet and make new friends. To this day, that is still the focus. The Oak Village Women's Club is primarily a social club for women residing in the Oak Village section of Sugarmill Woods.

Members meet for lunch on the 2nd Monday of each month from September through June and currently have over 180 members. The cost to join the Oak Village Women's Club is $15.00 to help cover the expenses, including entertainment at our luncheons. The cost for Luncheon Meetings is $17.50 per month..

Members have the option of attending the monthly luncheon and, if attending, must have a check in the amount of $17.50 along with their meal choice (no envelope) in the OVWC drop box located in Oak Village North at the Oak Village Bath & Tennis Club or in Oak Village South on Oak Village Boulevard at the security patrol parking area by 5:00 PM on the Monday prior to the luncheon date.

The Oak Village Women's Club offers Group Outings, Informative Speakers, Monthly Luncheons, Fund Raisers for Charity, Bingo, Book Club, Fashion Shows, etc. The Club provides a great opportunity to meet more women who are residents of Sugarmill Woods.
